Hi, I’m Michael, the owner of Foundation Web Design and I want to tell you a bit about us, starting with what drives us in helping businesses like yours.
Our passion is in helping small business succeed.

It all started way back in 1993.
I had worked in a print shop for four years and I was fascinated with technology. Computers were just starting to be used for design back then. I thought that if I combined my print shop know-how with graphic design skills, I could become an outstanding designer.
I started by designing ads for a small business that installed electronic information centers for tourism. I created ads for a wide variety of clients, from multi-million-dollar hotels to single hairdressers.
Then I worked for Business in Vancouver, putting together their Better Business Pages, which had a circulation of 550,000.
After that, I earned a diploma in programming and web development. I graduated early with honors and within a year, was hired by the college as an instructor. After that, I worked in the technology industry, selling computers and peripherals, and coordinating a Windows operating system upgrade for the Fraser Health Authority.
Now, with Foundation Web Design, I combine all of my experience into one powerful package for small business owners. With my assistance, you get superior design supported by over a decade of marketing and technology industry experience.
